1. What is being manufactured
Only the volume is known — find Ø and length
Diameters follow the preferred GOST 9617-76 series up to Ø4.5 m (the GOST 6533 upper limit for heads). Volume is counted with both heads and their straight flanges, and the shell length is rounded up to 10 mm — so a variant is never smaller than the volume asked for.

possible nesting variants: 320Candidates are ordered by their preliminary estimate, so the cheapest guesses are solved first and the plainly expensive tail is cut off. More variants means a longer run and a better chance of finding something cheaper.
Additional parameters

Vessel parts
The shell layout is preliminary: the final one is picked by the full order summary — metal, cutting, joints and vessel welds.

Shell panel, course 1BasisRole: Shell panel Formula: circumference = π × diameter; axial length is split into stock-fitting courses Sheet format: 2 × 12 m Quantity 4: the course geometry follows from the circumference and the axial length; format 2 × 12 m was picked by the panel layout service. | 1,590.8×6,020 mm | 4 | 9.58 | 2,406 | |

Blank sheet 8 mm — as specified: the thinning allowance for pressing is already part of the drawing thickness. Mass = area × thickness × density of the part grade (by default the vessel material, 7850 kg/m³). Parts with their own grade or thickness are nested as a separate sheet group.
